Wood is an organic material that reacts to temperature and humidity. We offer a 7-day guarantee on all setups. If you notice any minor buzzing or action issues within the first week after service, we will return for a one-time "tweak" at no additional charge.
Service Area: We proudly serve all of Wake County, NC. Locations outside of Wake County may be considered on a case-by-case basis and will incur a travel surcharge.
Access & Parking: For on-site restrings or setups, customers must provide a safe place to park our workshop and/or complete the requested work if there is no suitable parking. Please provide any necessary gate codes or parking instructions at the time of booking.
Minimum Service Fee: A $35.00 minimum labor fee applies to all mobile visits.
Service Evaluation: Every instrument undergoes a preliminary inspection. If a guitar is found to have "severe issues" (e.g., a non-functioning truss rod, heavy fret sprout, structural cracks, etc.) that prevent a basic setup, the customer will be notified immediately. We reserve the right to refuse to service any guitar we do not feel equipped to handle. This is keeping your best interests in-mind and we will recommend another shop to complete the work, if possible.
On-Site vs. Off-Site: While we strive to complete setups on-site (express), we reserve the right to convert any service to a "Pickup/Drop-off" if the instrument requires more time or specialized bench tools to complete safely.
Cases: For pickup/drop-off services, instruments must be provided in a gig bag or hard-shell case to ensure safe transport in our vehicle.
Customer-Provided Parts: Customers are encouraged to provide their preferred brand/gauge of strings.
Shop-Provided Strings: If strings are not provided, we can provide a standard set for an additional cost (subject to availability).
Hardware: We do not currently stock replacement hardware (tuners, bridges, etc.). If your instrument requires new hardware, it must be provided at the time of service.
24-Hour Notice: We value your time and our schedule. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
No-Show Policy: If our technician arrives at the scheduled location and the customer is not present or the instrument is unavailable, a $25.00 missed-appointment fee will be invoiced.
